Simple pouch meant for beginners.
This pattern will require you to know single crochet and double crochet.
It is designed to fit cards and notes. If your phone is small enough, you are able to put in the pouch. The length of the pouch is up to you to customize. I have provided the set of stitches to follow

As a rule of thumb, you'll need minimum 3 skeins of any fingering yarn / 5 skeins of DK yarn , to make a top of a decent length.
For cropped tops or sizes below UK10, 2 skeins of fingering yarn can make a basic top.

Below UK10, 3 skeins of fingering yarn and 5 Skeins of DK yarn
Kindly ensure sufficient yarn is purchased from the same batch as repeated runs will be visually different
